What the F1?
When catching up with a friend recently about my life I mentioned my new love of Formula 1- she burst out laughing and said- “Erin I love you, I never know how your sentences are going to end!”.
So yes, F1 is quite the left turn from my obvious interests, but think everyone needs one of those, and the fastest car racing in the world is a pretty cool one.
I wanted to include a page here because I thought it was worth showing off the community I have built and the creative work I have produced inspired by this global sport. Check out the below for my Formula 1 Film Photography, The Las Vegas Grand Prix Zine, and Fan Club; @westcoastformula1.
What began as a bit of fun to host a small race watch party with friends, turned into an entire community centered around the love of F1. In the very best way, it became much, much more. West Coast Formula 1 (@westcoastformulaone) is a social media based fan community. We host our famous race watch parties, coordinate “Fan on the Ground” content with members physically attending races, host trivia nights, go-kart nights, and generally have online fun with memes and online discussions (should have been there for our F1 missed connection).
